I enjoyed this. Very much the same old thing and nothing too different from the previous ones but I guess if the formula works then just stick with it.
Interesting thing this time though was that it felt a bit like the entire film was made purely to point out how fucked up America is right now, especially with immigration and white supremacist type people. They did kind of hammer the point home but didn’t detract from the action though.
Not a lot else to say really except if you liked the previous films you’ll like this one.
One gripe I have though (which applies to them all really) is that I wish they’d have gone full on gore violence and made it way over the top. They could have had a field day with oodles of practical effects. It’s the kind of film that is virtually begging for OTT death scenes.
